Does the app need access to my photos?
Yes — that's the magic. Pinned Memories reads the location and date metadata of your photos to detect countries, cities and trips automatically. The analysis happens entirely on your device; photos and metadata are never uploaded anywhere. You can also grant access to only a selection of photos.
What does Pro cost — is it a subscription?
The app is free to download and use. Pinned Memories Pro is an optional one-time purchase — no subscription, ever. It unlocks the Travel-Time video export, full statistics and achievements, all export styles and premium themes. During launch, Pro is available at a reduced price.
What happens to my data?
Nothing leaves your iPhone. There is no account, no cloud sync, no analytics and no tracking — deleting the app deletes your data. The details are in our privacy policy.
Which devices are supported?
Pinned Memories runs on iPhone with iOS 17 or later, including home-screen widgets. iCloud photo libraries are fully supported.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Country and city detection uses a built-in offline database, so your passport builds in seconds — even in airplane mode, which feels appropriate.
