How is my working time calculated?
Your net income is divided by the hours you actually work per year (paid days off are subtracted). Each price is divided by this hourly value. Tap any number in the app to see the exact calculation.
Where is my data stored?
Only on your device. There is no account and no server. Your data is included in your normal iPhone backup (iCloud or computer) if you have backups turned on.
How do I move my data to a new iPhone?
Restore your new iPhone from a backup of your old one (iCloud or Finder). Life Cost’s data comes with it.
I bought Pro. How do I get it on another device or after reinstalling?
Open Settings in Life Cost and tap “Restore purchase”. Use the same Apple ID you bought it with.
Is Pro a subscription?
No. Life Cost Pro is a one-time purchase. There is nothing to cancel.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
What does privacy mode do?
It hides your income and hourly value. They are only shown after Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode. Life Cost never sees your biometric data – iOS only tells the app “yes” or “no”.
How do I delete all my data?
Delete the app. All data is removed with it.
